WCC offers Estimating, Scopes of Repair, Site inspections, negotiations at Mediation, Deposition testimony, and Trial testimony. I have testified in 19 trials, 13 arbitrations as well as 85 depositions. I have participated in hundreds of mediations.
At WCC we do not use an estimating program. We believe there are no standard templates that can be applied to all estimates. Estimates are prepared to meet the specific and unique requirements of each client and their individual situation. Estimates can be prepared from conceptual data, specifications and drawings, or bid documents. Our estimates range from a conceptual estimate, which may not have specific data to rely on, to detailed estimates with accurate specifications and plans. The only constant is that our estimates always rely on our years of experience.
WCC prepares scopes of repair based on specific analysis of existing conditions. We provide solutions for deficiencies in design, construction techniques, improper materials, improperly sequenced work, and non-compliance with building codes and standards.
Through my 22-year career as a construction consultant, I have been a part of hundreds of mediation negotiations. My approach in mediation is to provide honest evaluations to my clients, attorneys and to the mediators. Not only this, but it is important to remember that the attorney is the advocate and the expert is there to provide insight into the issues being discussed. When the rolls of each get confused, chaos ensues.
My approach in a trial is to provide the jury with an honest, reliable and believable expert presentation of the issues in a manner they can easily understand and make sense of.
